Govt disappoints all categories of labours: INTUC
Kannur, Feb 18 (UNI) INTUC State President R Chandrasekharan today alleged that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) Government in Kerala had disappointed all categories of labours in the State.
Though the former CITU and AITUC leaders became ministers in the LDF Government, they failed to do anything for the welfare of the working class and even pursued anti-labour policies, he said at a news conference here.
The Government could not provide the gratuity to the employees of Thiruvapathi mill in the district, which was closed ten years ago, because of not approving the sub-committee report in this regard, he said.
