Designer J.J Valaya hosts unique fashion show of dogs
New Delhi, Feb 18 : Dogs walked the ramp here on Sunday to raise funds for destitute girls.
Well-known fashion designer J.J Valaya organised 'The Magic Collar 'Haute Carnival Dog Show' to raise money for a foundation which works for girl children.
"It's a six-month-old foundation. We opened one centre for education and we have 115 girls there. And, with this fundraiser, we hope to open a second one and then probably a third one. So, the idea is to do a high-end dog show rather than the typical polo match or art auctions. The event is purely a fund raiser, no other cause," said Valaya.
Dog owners appeared satisfied with the show.
"She is warden. She is two-and-a-half-year old Labrador. She likes to eat whatever you feed. She likes to have mutton with chapattis," said Jasleen, a dog owner.
