8 Bihari workers arrested for killing two over Rs 500
Yamunanagar, Feb 18 (UNI) Eight Bihari migrant workers battered to death two persons who had come to recover a sum of Rs 1500 from them last night in Farakhpur area in this district, police today said.
According to SHO Farakhpur police station, Ajit Singh, the victims Jagar Lal and Yadav Ram, also hailing from Biahar, had gone to the rented room of the accused to recover Rs 1500 at about 2230 hrs last night.
Apparently a fight broke out among them following which the accused beat the duo with 'lathis' (wooden batons) causing fatal injuries to them.
A case under section 302 IPC has been registered against all the accused who have been arrested, the SHO said.
