100 kg ganja seized, two held

Visakhapatnam, Feb 18: Police have arrested two people and seized 100 kg ganja worth more than Rs five lakh from them at Pinagadi junction in Pendurti mandal here.

Task Force Police Inspector Lakshmana Murthy today said the accused A Apparao and P S Raju, belonging to Devarapalli village in the district, were allegedly attempting to transport the contraband from the village.

The police also recovered Rs 2,000 cash and impounded an autorickshaw, used for transporting ganja to the nearby railway station.
