TDP demands Ap Govt to waive off farm loans
Medak, Andhra Pradesh, Feb 17 (UNI) TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu today demanded that the Andhra Pradesh Government should waive off loans taken by the farmers.
Addressing a public meeting here, Mr Naidu said the TDP would fight for the welfare of the farmers and demanded the government to increase the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of sugarcane to Rs 1,500.
He said the TDP would fix the MSP of sugarcane at Rs 1,800 if the party was voted to power in the next elections.
The party would also waive off the loans taken by the farmers from commercial banks if voted to power, he added.
