Hospital dismisses Lopez kidnap fears

Washington, Feb 17 : The hospital where Jennifer Lopez is set to give birth is on red-alert over kidnapping fears and has been practicing drills to prevent abduction attempts.

However, the staff at the medical centre has denied the reports stating that it has nothing to do with the star's scheduled stay.

The officials at the North Shore Medical Centre in Long Island, New York have been taking part in a Code Pink security drill, which involves the locking down of the hospital if a baby goes missing, reports Contactmusic.

Hospital bosses have reassured that there is no kidnap threat, and that the timing of the drill was just "coincidental".

Lopez and her husband Marc Antony are reportedly expecting twins.
