Punjab: Home Guard jawan killed in accidental fire

Phagwara, Feb 16: A Home Guard jawan was killed when his service rifle accidentally went off inside Rawalpindi police station in this sub divissional town last night, police today claimed. The deceased jawan was identified as Dharam Paul(40).

According to a police report the jawan who was on duty in the police station when the incident occured. He sustained critical bullet injuries in his head and was immediately rushed to the civil hospital here where he was declared brought dead. The dead body was handed over to the family members of the deceased after conducting post morterm at the civil hospital.
