Advisory Committee for State After Care Home for Girls reconstituted

Chandigarh, Feb 16 (UNI) The Haryana Government has reconstituted the Advisory Committee for running the State After Care Home for Girls at Karnal and rehabilitating its inmates under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner.

Other officers of Karnal district, who would be members of the committee, included Superintendent of Police, Civil Surgeon, District Attorney, Chairperson of Zila Parishad, Karnal, a spokesman of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department said today.

The District Social Welfare Officer would be the Special Invitee and the Superintendent of State After Care Home would be the Member Secretary.

The Committee would extend help in the admission of inmates, their training and rehabilitation. The tenure of the Committee, which would meet once in every quarter, would be for three years. The headquarters of the committee would be at Karnal.
