Secure sea-lanes ensure economic growth: Indian PM

New Delhi, Feb 14, 2008 : Speaking at the Indian Ocean Naval Symposium 2008 in New Delhi on February 14th, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that ensuring the safety and security of the sea lanes is important for economic growth as they have emerged as an important means of communication.

The Indian Navy is hosting the Indian Ocean Naval Symposium Seminar 2008.
