Richard Burton's passionate affair with mistress revealed

London, Feb 15 : Legendary actor Richard Burton had a passionate love affair with mistress Claire Bloom, reveals a new biography.

'Richard Burton: Prince Of Players' authored by former film publicist Michael Munn, explains how the illicit romance bloomed between the pair who met on the West End stage while working together on 'Look Back In Anger'.

Burton, who was then married to first wife Sybil, admitted that his heart lay with Claire.

"I truly loved Claire," The Daily Express quoted the biography, as stating Burton's words.

"We used to lie in the grass in Regent's Park in between rehearsals. Being with a girl you love in that wonderful park, just lying there, touching, talking, kissing... we'd make love in our dressing rooms between the matinees and the evening performance," the book said.
