Centre rushes LPG cylinders to HP

Shimla, Feb 15 (UNI) Union Ministry of Petroleum has rushed additional quantity of 4,500 LPG cooking gas cylinders to Himachal Pardesh following a demand by the state government, an official spokesman here today stated.

Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal had recently met the Union Petroleum Minister Murli Deora at New Delhi and had raised the issue of shortage of LPG cylinders in the state.

The spokesman further said that the Management of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd had assured that in the next three days they would supply more LPG cylinders to the state.
