Yamaha launches new 125 cc sports bike

New Delhi, Feb 14: Motorcycle major Yamaha today unveiled its new sports bike Gladiator Type SS and Type RS priced at Rs 46,350 onwards ex-showroom in the 125 cc segment.

With 28 new features in style, performance and handling; the four-stroke, 11 bhp and five-speed bike promises to deliver mileage of 67 km per litre on actual city road conditions, a company statement said. While the Gladiator Type SS will be available in yellow and red colours, the Type RS will be offered in blue. Yamaha Motor India has seen a downswing in sales in recent times following poor demand. Its sales for the period April 2007-January 2008 have fallen by almost 50 per cent to 96,303 units compared to the same period last year.
