Phagwara-Jalandhar railway line disrupted

Phagwara, Feb 13 (UNI) Up and Down line rail traffic on Phagwara-Jalandhar main rail section remained disrupted for 45 minutues after developing a technical snag in the engine of a goods train near Jalandhar Cantt railway station this morning.

Railway sources, while confirming the disruption, told UNI here that Jammu bound 2471UP Jammu Super Express was detained at Phagwara railway station for 30 minutues, while Dadar bound 1058DN Amritsar-Dadar Express was held up at Jalandhar railway station.

The rail traffic was restored after the goods train proceeded with a new engine brought from Jalandhar railway station.
