Floral tributes paid to Sarojini Naidu

New Delhi, Feb 13: Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee today paid floral tributes at the portrait of freedom fighter Sarojini Naidu in the Central Hall of Parliament House on her 129th birth anniversary. Parliamentary Affairs and Information and Broadcasting Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi and Minister of state for Finance Pawan Kumar Bansal, Members of Parliament and former Members also paid floral tributes. A booklet profiling her, brought out in English and Hindi by the Lok Sabha Secretariat, was presented to the dignitaries at the function.
