Vivimed acquires James Robinson

Hyderabad, Feb 12: The city-based Vivimed Labs Ltd has acquired the entire issued share capital of James Robinson Ltd and other associated assets from Yule Catto and Co plc for 21.15 million US Dollar along with their working capital of approximately 4.5 million US Dollars.

A company release here today said Vivimed would retain the existing management team of James Robinson. The personal care products of James Robinson would complement Vivimed's strong portfolio of active ingredients for this sector. Managing Director Santosh Varalwar said ''the acquisition is in line with Vivimed's corporate strategy of achieving leadership in the Global personal care actives industry.''
