Hearing on Asif Md, Yadawad bail pleas posteD for Feb 18

Hubli, Feb 12 (UNI) A local court here today posted the hearing of bail applications of suspected terrorists Asif Mohammad and Allabaksha Yadawad for February 18.

The first class Judicial magistrate court also extended the custody of Asif with COD till that date and remanded Allabaksha to judicial custody till February 25.

Earlier in the morning, the judge had directed Asif's advocate to file his objections in writing by 1500 hrs.

Meanwhile, members of the Hubli Bar Association continued to boycott the court proceedings for the second day today protesting against two lawyers moving the bail applications of Asif Mohammad.

Incident of stone pelting was reported on advocate Mohammadannavar's house early today after he moved the bail application.

Police had been deployed around the house.

Meanwhile, the interrogation of Asif by a COD team at Dharwad continued.
