Engineer and Doctor suspended in central Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 11 (UNI) An Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Public Works Department and a doctor have been suspended in the central Kashmir district of Badgam for being absent from the duty, an official spokesman said today.

He said Deputy Commissioner Badgam, Khawaja Farooq Ahmad Renzu has placed AEE, Khansahib, under suspension for remaining "absconding" from his duties during heavy snowfall.

Mr Renzu ordered his attachment with Executive Engineer PWD as the engineer left the station without permission and remained continuously away from the Valley during the last several days.

The Deputy Commissioner also placed one Dr Tariq Ahmad under suspension for remaining absent from duty.
