Low pressure brings rains in parts of AP

Hyderabad, Feb 10 (UNI) Rain occurred at most places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at a few places over Telangana while there were isolated rains over Rayalaseema today.

According to the Weather Office here, the minimum temperature fell at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema. They were significantly above normal at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema and above normal at one or two places over Telangana.

The lowest minimum temperature of 12 degrees Celsius was recorded at Adilabad.

Elamanchili and Visakhaptnam recorded the heaviest rainfall of 12 cm each, followed by Ongole 11 cm, Anakapalle, Kaikalur nine cm each, Tuni eight cm, Bheemunipatnam seven cm.

Heavy to very heavy rain or thundershowers were likely at most places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, while moderate to rather heavy rain or thundershowers were likely at many places over Rayalaseema.
