Driving on UK roads leaves Nicolas Cage 'terrified'

London, Feb 10 : Hollywood star Nicolas Cage has revealed that driving on UK roads drives him mad.

The 'City of Angels' star admits that he just can't stop himself from driving on the wrong side of the British roads.

The 44-year-old actor, who played the role of a car thief in the movie 'Gone in Sixty Seconds', admitted that driving in the UK left him terrified.

"I nearly killed myself in London because it's impossible to get used to driving on the left. It's not funny with a double decker bus staring you in the face," The Sun quoted him as saying.

"So even though I love driving fast cars, I have trouble crossing the street in London," he added.

The Oscar winning star also revealed that he has given up riding fast motorbikes after his wife Alice Kim gave birth to son Kal-El, who is 2-years-old.
