Macca's night out with Rosanna Arquette

London, Feb 9 : Legendary singer Sir Paul McCartney was recently spotted on a night out with actress Rosanna Arquette.

A source close to the Beatles idol revealed that the singer was upset following his divorce battle with estranged wife Heather Mills and wanted a peaceful break.

"Paul has been really down in the dumps over his divorce and needed cheering up," The Sun quoted a source as saying.

"Rosanna was in London and they hooked up on Thursday night. It did the trick and helped him forget he has to face Heather next week," the source added.

Since his split McCartney has been seen on several occasions with the Pulp Fiction actress.

However, Macca's spokesman has continuously denied any romantic link up between the two.

"It's no big deal. They are just friends," the spokesman said.
