Bajrang Dal to campaign against terrorism
Mangalore, Feb 9 (UNI) The district unit of the Bajrang Dal will launch a campaign to create awareness among the people against the spread of terrorist activities in the coastal region.
Addressing a press conference here today, Dr Ananthakrishna Bhat of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal Convener Sudarshan M alleged that though the Muslim fundamentalists had posed a threat to the country, no stern action had been taken to counter it due to lack of political will of our leaders, who were engaged in appeasing the Muslims for their vote.
They also charged that the higher officials, despite the intelligence reports, had failed to ensure peace in the country.
Terrorism had reached our doorsteps and the authorities have to rise from the slumber to take all steps to contain the spread of terrorism, they said.
The campaign also intended to help police in nabbing the terrorists, they added.
