K V Rao Scientific Society invites nominations for awards

Hyderabad, Feb 8 (UNI) Dr K V Rao Scientific Society has invited nominations from young scientists for the seventh annual Dr K V Rao Research Awards 2008 in the fields of Chemistry and allied Sciences, Physics, Biological Sciences and Mathematics.

The eligible candidates, below the age of 30 on or before February 20, should carry an active research work in any of the Universities or Deemed Universities or Research organisations in the State or should have been registered for PhD in any of the Universities or Deemed Universities in the State, a release said here.

The award in each category comprised a trophy and a cash award of Rs 10,000 to the Best Young Scientist. Two other candidates selected from the final presentations in each category would be given a trophy and a cash award of Rs 5,000 each.
