DDA allots alternative plots in Rohini, Narela through draw of lots

New Delhi, Feb 8 (UNI) The Delhi Development Authority today held a computerised draw for allotment of alternative plots to the eligible recommendees in Rohini and Narela.

In the draw of lots, held at Vikas Sadan Auction Hall, a total of 439 plots were allotted in Rohini and 57 plots allotted in Narela.

All the farmers whose land was acquired are given compensation at the time of acquisition and are also allotted alternative plots, as and when available as part of the whole compensation package.

The DDA had displayed the eligibility list of all the eligible recommendees on February 5 and 6 and after considering all the suggestions/objections, the draw was held today.

All the eligible recommendees were also allowed to be present during the draw.

The result of the draw has also been put up on the DDA website.
