3 militants killed, one surrender 6 civilians injured in J
Srinagar, Feb 8 (UNI) Three militants were killed by the security forces at Poonch while six civilians were injured in a grenade blast at Bandipora in north Kashmir today.
A militant of Lashker-e-Toiba, surrendered along with arms and ammunition at Jammu, an official spokesman said here this evening.
He said three militants were killed in a fierce gun-battle at Kasblari Majokote in Poonch district of Jammu region today.
The operation was still on when the reports last came in, he added.
He said militants hurled a hand grenade towards security forces at Bandipora, about 55 km from here today.
However, it missed the intended target and exploded on the road side injuring to six civilians.
The injured were hospitalised.
