Jail supdt rapped for not submitting report of blast accused
New Delhi, Feb 5 (UNI) Additional Sessions Judge Babu Lal today pulled up the Jail Superintendent of Tihar Jail for not submitting the medical report of Ghulam Ahmad Khan who is facing trial in connection with the serial blasts that rocked Delhi more than two years ago.
Earlier, the court could not frame charges against Khan as he was not mentally fit. The court had earlier framed charges against the all other accused including the main accused Tariq Ahmad Dar.
The court adjourned the matter to February 12 and directed the superintendent to positively submit the medical report of Khan by that date.
Three blasts rocked Delhi on October 29, 2005 in which 63 people were killed and 227 injured.
The blasts, occurring at three different places in the capital- Sarojini Nagar Market, Paharganj and Kalkaji- were executed allegedly at the instance of Lashker-e-Toiba.
