Debra Messing signs on for 'Humboldt Park'

Washington, Feb 5 : Debra Messing has signed on to star in 'Humboldt Park'.

Joining her in the State Street Pictures and 2DS Prods. film are Freddy Rodriguez, John Leguizamo, Alfred Molina, Jay Hernandez, Mercedes Ruehl, Luis Guzman, Melonie Diaz and Vanessa Ferlito.

Messing is set to play the wife of Leguizamo's character, reports Variety.

The movie tells the story of three siblings who return home for the holiday in Humboldt Park on Chicago's northwest side.

Alfredo De Villa will be directing the family dramedy from a script penned by Rick Najera, Ted Perkins and Alison Swan.

'Humboldt Park' is set to begin shooting next week in Chicago.
