Budget session of Kerala Assembly on Feb 20: CM

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 5: The Marxist-led Left Democratic Front Government in Kerala today recommended to the state Governor to convene the Budget session of from February 20.

Briefing newspersons here after a meeting of the cabinet, Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan said the budget session of the 12th Assembly would begin with the customary Governor's address.

The budget for the year 2008-09 is scheduled to be presented on March 7, he added.

This would be the third budget of the LDF government.
