Assam Co starts oil, gas production at Amguri block
New Delhi, Feb 5 (UNI) Oil and gas producer Assam Company Ltd today said it has started oil and gas production at its Amguri block in northeast India from January 29.
The company is currently producing 585 barrels a day of oil and 4.7 metric million cubic feet of natural gas from Amguri 10B and Amguri 11 wells.
After the construction of a new gas pipeline in the current quarter, the production is expected to increase, the company said in a statement.
