Vodafone Q3 revenue rises 4.2 pc

New Delhi, Feb 3, 2008 : Vodafone Group, the world"s biggest mobile-phone company by sales reported the rise of third-quarter revenue from wireless services beating analyst estimates on growth in India and Turkey.

Growth in the quarter ended December 31 decelerated from 4.8% a year earlier. According to estimates of Bloomberg News survey, the England-based company was predicted to have a service revenue gain of 3.6%.
