Jalpaiguri poultry farmers face bird flu scare
Falakata, West Bengal, Feb 2, 2008 : Panic stricken poultry farmers at a village in the Jalpaiguri district in India"s eastern state of West Bengal buried thousands of chickens following the death of poultry in the area.
Residents of Falakata town in Jalaiguri district fearing an outbreak of bird flu reportedly buried 2000 chicken when several birds were found dead in poultry farms.
