Govt in talks with IAEA, left allies to follow

Kolkata, Feb 3, 2008 : India"s External Affairs Minister, Pranab Mukherjee, on February 03 said that the government, after discussions with the International Atomic Energy Agency, will hold talks with its left allies.

The authorities are in talks with the IAEA to finalise safeguards agreement for the Indo-US nuclear deal. After chalking out the safeguards agreements, the draft would be discussed with the Left parties before giving any final shape to it.
