Railways thrash Pepsu in National Womena's Hockey
Jalandhar, Feb 4 (UNI) Defending champions, Railways thrashed Pepsu 9-1 in a Pool-A league match in the 55th Rakshak Senior Women Hockey championship played at the Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium here today.
The star studded Railways, boasting of a number of intenationals in their ranks led 6-1 at half time.
In another league match, Indian University defeated Delhi 4-1 while Bombay routed Andhra Pradesh (AP) 7-0.
The fourth and last match of the day between Karntaka and Maharashtra was tied at 3-3, all goals coming in the second half.
