Mah's plea to cancel bail of molestation case accused rejected
Mumbai, Feb 4 (UNI) A local court today rejected a revision application seeking cancellation of bail of 14 people who were arrested for allegedly molesting two girls on New Year's eve.
Additional chief metropolitan magistrate B N Bondare had earlier granted bail to them on January 4.
The state had, however, moved a revision application seeking cancellation of their bail.
But, additional sessions judge S N Sardesai upheld the lower court's order and said the state's plea was not maintainable since the charges against the accused were bailable offences.
They were arrested on January 4 in connection with the molestation of two Indian girls, now based in California, by new year revellers outside a five-star hotel here.
