Flesh prevented from being conveyed by train in MP
Jabalpur, Feb 4 (UNI) Hindu Dharam Sena activists prevented flesh-containing sacks from being conveyed as parcel alleging that these sacks contained beef (cow meat) at railway station here last evening.
''On receiving information that more than 100 sacks containing flesh was being conveyed in the Mahakaushal Express, the Hindu Dharam Sena activists prevented it from being transported,'' said state Hindu Dharam Sena President Yogesh Agrawal.
He alleged that the parcel was being sent with the collusion of the parcel department and police.
Police said some samples had been sent for analysis on the basis of complaint by the Hindu Dharam Sena.
Flesh trader Mohammed Harun Ansari denied that the flesh was beef (cow meat) and claimed it was buffalo meat. He alleged that these steps were being taken to defame him.
