Three of family murdered in Sripola village

Hooghly, Feb 3 (UNI) Three members of a family were found murdered in their house at Sripola village under Pandua police station in this district late last night.

Pandua police station officer-in-charge Arup Bhowmick said here today that assailants broke into the house late last night and stabbed the entire family to death.

The bodies were sent for post-mortems, he added.

Police suspected that a family feud might have been the motive of the murder and suspected the victims' son-in-law to be behind the crime.

However, no one was arrested in this connection so far, the OC said, adding that the victims' son-in-law was absconding.
