Eight killed, five hurt in accident in Haryana

Sirsa, Feb 3 (UNI) Eight people were killed and five others injured when their jeep hit a truck near Sahuwala village, 20 km from here, on the National Highway-10 this morning, police sources said.

The deceased were being identified. Their bodies were brought to the Civil Hospital here where the injured were admitted.

The jeep, carrying a marriage party from Moonak in Punjab, was headed to Sangaria town in Rajasthan.

Police and civil authorities have reached the site and launched a rescue operation.
