Two robbers of gang involved in over 60 robberies arrested
New Delhi, Feb 2 (UNI) The Delhi police have arrested two robbers belonging to a gang involved in over 60 thefts in the city.
A team of the Delhi police Special Cell arrested Krishna Murti and Raj Kumar, members of a gang which has committed nearly 60 robberies in North West and West Delhi over the past six months.
Interrogation of the two revealed that they used to commit five to six thefts a day, targetting areas near the Ring Road.
In another case, the Police foiled an attempt to commit dacoity at an ATM in a bank in Shakti Nagar in North Delhi with the arrest of four persons last evening.
The four-Mahboob, Manvir, Surinder and Islam - were arrested while they were planning to commit dacoity at the ATM of Axis bank at Shakti Nagar.
