Iron Maiden opens its world tour with rocking show in Mumbai
{image-IronMaiden-150 100_02022008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Mumbai, Feb 2: Hundreds of fans of legendary heavy metal band Iron Maiden jigged to their rocking numbers as the band opened their world tour 'Somewhere Back in Time' at the MMRDA Grounds in suburban Bandra here Feb 2.Going full throttle, the band ran through a string of hits that included 'Number of the Beast', 'Hallowed be Thy Name' and 'The Trooper' that thrilled the fans and had them sing along.
The opening acts were by Larren Harris, daughter of Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris, and Parikrama. ''It's a treat, for headbangers like us,'' said an estactic Max from Vasai, who shelled out more than Rs 2,000 to attend the show. Iron Maiden will head for Australia, the US and European circuit for their tour.
