'Woman on Top' wins D P Sharma Memorial Sprinters Trial Stakes

Bangalore, Feb 1 (UNI) Punters choice and also favourite 'Woman on Top' brilliantly ridden by Jockey S A De Sousa won the D P Sharma Memorial Sprinters Trial Stakes, the main event of the races held here today.

The winner is the property of M/s Mr Shiven Surendranath, Sanjeev Jacob, Ramesh Seksaria and Marthand Singh Mahindra and trained by V Lokanath.

In another supporting event for the day 'Fleeting Arrow' ridden by Jockey J H Christopher won the Narasimharaja Cup.

While trainer Irfan Ghatala scored a treble, Apprentice Jockey V Shinde saddled a double.

Five favourites obliged punters in long card of ten events.
