100 cars to run in Jaipur Vintage and Classic car rally on Sunday

Jaipur, Feb 1(UNI) About 80 to 100 cars, including rare and unique cars like Bentley(1931), Austin(1933), Dodge(1933), Mercedes(1939), Chrysler Windsor(1947) and Cadillac(1956), will participate in the 10th Vintage and Classic Car rally here on February 3.

The cars will be flagged off from Birla Planetarium for Hotel Clarks Amer via Vatika Infotech City, an organisers' spokesman said.

The rally route would be divided into two sections, while section between Birla planetanium and Vatika Infotech City would for the display, the competitive section would be confined between Vatika Infotech City and Hotel Clarks Amer, he added.

Rajasthan Governor Shilendra Kumar Singh will flag off the rally being held by Rajputana Automotive Sports Car Club and sponsored jointly by Vatika Group, Rajasthan Tourism and Hotel Clarks Amer.

Prior to the rally the participating cars would be displayed for exhibition at the Birla Planetarium here tomorrow.
