Medico arrested for suspected links with terrorists

Hubli, Jan 31: Police have arrested a final year MBBS student for allegedly having links with the two terror suspects, nabbed by the Honnali police in Davangere district of Karnataka recently.

City Police Commissioner Narayan Nadamani, who confirmed the arrest of Mohammad Asif, said he was arrested by the Gokul road police yesterday while riding a two wheeler in a rash and negligent manner near the airport. The two wheeler used by him was stolen from Davangere district.

Police also recovered the photographs of terror suspects Asadullah and Mohammed Ghouse from his possession, he added.
