DGP Bansal awarded the President Police Medal

Chandigarh, Jan 31 (UNI) Managing Director of Haryana Police and Director General of Police, C.P. Bansal was awarded the President Medal for his distinguished service on the Republic Day.

He joined service on July 1974 and after completion of initial training, was appointed as Assistant Superintendent of Police on April 1976. He held various prestigious posts in police department and was promoted as ADGP in April 2003 and DGP in April 2006.

He was decorated with President Police Medal for his distinguished service on the Republic Day, an official release said here today.
