Budget session begins tomorrow in Manipur Assembly

Imphal, Jan 31 (UNI) The budget session of the Manipur Legislative Assembly will begin tomorrow, official sources said here today.

The state government had already announced traffic regulations and entry of vehicles would be barred into the Assembly complex.

Manipur Governor Dr S S Sidhu would address the House and there would be no session on February 2 and 3, Assembly officials said.

The preparations for the budget session had been delayed as the Planning Commission announced the annual plan allocation of Rs 1,660 crore only recently, officials added.
