Tributes paid to Mahatma Gandhi in J'khand

Ranchi, Jan 30 (UNI) Jharkhand Governor Syed Sibtey Razi today paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and garlanded his statue at Morhabadi ground here.

Prayers and bhajans were also held to mark the martyrdom day.

State's Human Resources Minister Bandhu Tirkey present on the occasion urged the children to follow Mahatma's path of non-violence and peace.

Series of functions were also organised at educational institutions and social organisations in the state capital to mark the death anniversary of Mahatma.
