MoU with Philippines in health field approved: Cabinet
New Delhi, Jan 30 (UNI) The Union Cabinet today gave its ex-post facto approval for signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Philippines in the field of Health and Medicine.
The MoU would facilitate cooperation on the basis of equality, reciprocity and mutual benefit, Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi told reporters.
The cooperation would cover drugs and pharmaceutical products, medical consumable products, medical education, medical equipment, public health, communicable disease control and surveillance, hospital management, health tourism and traditional and alternative medicine.
