Mahatma Gandhi's death anniversary observed in Bihar
Patna, Jan 30 (UNI) The 60th death anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi was today observed in Bihar with due solemnity and by holding day long prayers.
The main funcion was held at Gandhi Ghat on the banks of river Ganges, where state Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ramashray Prasad Sindh placed floral wreaths at Mahatma Gandhi's statue amid the chanting of the ramdhun.
All faith prayer meetings were also organised in different districts, besides the capital city, to mark the Martyrs' Day. Huge number of common people and members of several Gandhian organisations also participated in the meetings.
