Gayatri Projects posts 51.90 pc growth in profit
Hyderabad, Jan 30 (UNI) Gayatri Projects Limited (GPL), the Hyderabad-based Infrastructure Company, today announced that it has posted a 51.90 per cent impressive jump in profit at Rs 129.67 million for the third quarter that ended on December 31, 2007, as compared to Rs 85.36 million in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
The total income from net sales rose to Rs 2052.35 million in the quarter ending December 31, 2007, a hike of 33.56 per cent over Rs 1536.61 million in the corresponding period last year, a release here said.
The Earning per share (EPS) was reported at Rs 12.97 in the quarter ending December 31, 2007 as against Rs 8.54 in the corresponding quarter last year. The cumulative EPS was reported at Rs 26.21 for the period of nine months ending December 31, 2007 GPL Managing Director Sandeep Reddy said, ''We have registered an impressive performance, which is reflected in the figures. With the thrust on infrastructure, the company's dream run will continue in the coming period.'' GPL had recently signed an MoU with realty major DLF to undertake road development projects on BOT basis.
