Four of a marriage party killed in boat mishap

Khagaria, Jan 30 (UNI) Four persons of a marriage party drowned when a boat carrying 30 people capsized in Kosi river under Mansi police station here last night.

Police said the ill-fated boat was ferrying the marriage party from Phango panchayat of the district to Simri Bakhtiyarpur of Saharsa district. The deceased include the groom's brother.

The rest swam to safety.

Sources said all the four bodies had been recovered.
