FII, NRI, PIO can invest in Monnet Ispat Energy: RBI

Mumbai, Jan 30 (UNI) Under the Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS), FII's, NRIs and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) can now purchase equity and convertible debentures of Monnet Ispat and Energy through primary markets and the stock exchange.

The limit of the purchase has been limited upto 40 percent of paid up capital, as per resolutions passed to this effect at the Board of Directors and General Body Meeting, announced a release from RBI.
