Wave in favour of Cong in Chhattisgarh: Sami
Raipur, Jan 29 (UNI) Congress party's Chhattisgarh in-charge General Secretary V Narayan Sami today alleged that the ruling BJP had failed on all fronts.
''A wave in the favour of the Congress is flowing in Chhattisgarh as well as in neighbouring Madhya Pradesh,'' Mr Sami told reporters here before going for campaigning for the Assembly by-election in Keshkal.
He alleged that the Rama Singh Government was steeped into corruption. The government was acting as a well-wisher of capitalists instead of poor.
Mr Sami claimed that people were waiting for next Assembly election.
The Congress General Secretary said names of several central schemes had been changed and centrally-sponsored schemes not implemented properly.
He said the party had no dearth of issues against the government.
The BJP had made it clear that it had no interest in fulfilling promises made in the poll manifesto.
Mr Sami described factionalism in the Congress as a thing of the past. The party would fight the next Assembly election untidily.
Later, he left for Keshkal along with state Congress President Charandas Mahant.
